Graham Henderson is President of Music Canada, an association that promotes the interests of the Canadian music community. Music Canada is a passionate advocate for music in Canada, a trusted source of music-related news and information, and a respected forum for all things music. Graham has led and inspired numerous initiatives to advance Canada’s music industry, among them the Ontario and BC Music Funds and municipalinitiatives to unite communities around the idea of celebrating and promoting the extensive musical assets in their cities. He has also been instrumental in improving the protection of creators’ rights. Graham has been working with artists for more almost 30 years, first as one of Canada’s leading entertainment lawyers and later as Senior Vice-President, Business Affairs and eCommerce at Universal Music Canada. Graham contributes his time on a variety of Boards.  He is Chair of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and a member of the boards of The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall and Re:Sound Music Licensing.  He currently holds the position of Copyright Rapporteur of the International Chamber of Commerce Commission on Intellectual Property.  In 2013 he was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Graham is married to Margo Timmins of Cowboy Junkies and they have a son, Ed. He is a lifelong student of Percy Bysshe Shelley, as well as of Canadian, Russian and Ancient history - Cicero is a favourite. Graham graduated from the University of Guelph with a double major in English Literature and Fine Art History. He completed his Masters at the University of Toronto, writing on "Prometheus Unbound and the Problem of Opposite." Graham completed a law degree at the University of Toronto.
